DECEMBER 2019 NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

We have so much to be thankful for in our lives. Every day I am reminded of God’s faithfulness and love through His presence in my life. The ministries here at the Ranch are touching lives for Christ every week. New people continue to join our weekly HEAL meetings and the power of God is evident in these meetings. Every week the ministry at the local rehab continues to bring forth fruit with 15 more people accepting Christ into their lives this past month! We should all be thankful for the opportunity we have to share the greatest message this world could every know, God’s love demonstrated through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Life and ministry are not always positive in our eyes but no matter what we face God sees a bigger picture which He is orchestrating for His purpose and glory. My Brother Craig, a great man of God, at the age of 62, went to be with the Lord this past month. My heart aches for his awesome family.  He will be greatly missed. I thank my loving, all knowing, faithful God for who He is and that our lives are in His amazing hands. Praise His Holy name even for the things we don’t understand.

The country of Haiti is in much turmoil. The average family in Haiti is now having trouble to buy food due to inflation. This is a challenging and troublesome time, but the opportunity to be a blessing with the message of hope in Jesus Christ is right before them. We can’t meet the needs of all the hunger but we can help our churches provide a fellowship meal for their neighborhoods and then take the opportunity to share the gospel. Our next trip to Haiti is in December. My co-worker in the ministries of Eagle Ranch, Phil will accompany me on this trip. We ask for your prayers and support for this trip. We want to be a blessing to the people and our Pastors in this time of trouble and encourage them to live out their faith during this time. We want the power and wisdom of God throughout this trip. Pray as we continue treatment for the children who may be still struggling with a parasitic condition. Also keep in mind the $21,000 that is needed for the next phase of construction of our building. There are six sections to finish at a cost of $3,500 per section. Please consider giving to help provide for these needs.  This would be a great time to encourage the people and the children with a completed interior of the orphanage building. I look forward to being with our children and our Pastors. It’s amazing to see the growth in their lives and the changes that are taking place throughout the region. Please go to our website eaglerm.org and our facebook page; @eaglerm.org for all the latest updates.

I am so grateful for our faithful supporters, who give each month to make this mission possible. Remember 100% of all that you give goes to the mission as designated. Please continue helping our mission as we move forward. I continue to believe that God will do great things in the lives of people and you have a part through your continued support and prayers.

NOVEMBER 2019 NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

Jesus said “…Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40

Can you imagine waking up this morning as an orphan in Haiti with absolutely nothing, and wondering if you were going to be able to eat today and you had nothing to eat for the past two days? That was the case for over 70 children when I walked into the village of Mourne Massacre for the first time in 2013. Since that time these children and many others have not missed a meal.

Can you imagine waking up this morning in a prison with no hope of a future, or waking up wondering where you’re going to get your next fix for your addiction? That’s the reality of the individuals who attend the HEAL meetings at Eagle Ranch every week. What a privilege and honor God has given us to have a part in the lives of people who have no hope and to be able to give them the message of hope in Jesus Christ.

Every day at Eagle Ranch we are working to bring this hope which is in Jesus to the people of Haiti and those struggling in the United States with addictions and patterns of bad choices in their lives. We covet your prayers as we minister abroad in Haiti and here at home with Eagle Ranch. We see people come to Christ every month and scores who are encouraged through living God’s Word. Every day I am thankful for Jesus as my Savior and for a purpose of living that is so much bigger than me.

There are always needs in Haiti for completing building projects, as well as more sponsors to help care for our children. Right now, we have a couple of urgent needs with the mission. One is treating our children with a parasitic skin issue and providing new bedding (sheets and blankets) for them. The cost is $1,555. Treatment has started but we must complete the treatment in the near future to end the problem. This includes treating every child in the orphanage even if they don’t have symptoms now. Another priority project is completing the interior of the second floor in the orphanage. $21,000 is needed. There are six sections to finish at a cost of $3,500 per section. Please consider giving to help provide for these needs.

Our next trip to Haiti will be in December. My co-worker in the ministries of Eagle Ranch, Phil will accompany me on this trip. Once again, we ask for your prayers and support for this trip. We want to be a blessing to the people and we want the power and wisdom of God throughout this trip. I look forward to being with our children and our Pastors. It’s amazing to see the growth in their lives and the changes that are taking place throughout the region. Please go to our website eaglerm.org and our facebook page @eaglerm for all the latest updates.  Please let us know what questions you have to learn more about our ministry at Eagle Ranch.

OCTOBER 2019 NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

As I give this update for the past month I am amazed at the Hand of God and how He is working in lives. Most importantly this month new souls have joined the family of God through Christ. God continues to give opportunities to share His love through preaching, teaching, and living. New believers are growing by leaps and bounds through God’s Word. It’s exciting to see the light going on in the lives of those hungry for the truth of God’s Word. God continues to show Himself in our weekly Bible Study at a local Recovery Program for men and women. God is at work in the lives to so many, please continue to pray for this ministry. Numbers and lives continue to grow through our HEAL meetings at the ranch. Since we’ve taken the new direction in our ministry several years ago, to transition from our residential program to small groups and counseling/disciple programs for addicts and their families, we have seen so many more people reached for Christ and lives growing through God’s Word. I’m excited to work to see these programs and to be effective for the Glory of God.

As I write this letter I sit in a rainy Haiti. Lots of mud which causes me to adapt and go with the condition God has given us. My time with the Pastors is invaluable and of course being with the children is always a highlight. Two water wells have been completed and are operational. The electrical solar system has been upgraded as far as it can be with the system we have. The orphanage has come full circle with seven of our children entering college this year. I had the opportunity to meet with these students and they are so grateful for those who sponsored them to go to college. Upon their completion for a two-year certificate, jobs will be waiting for them. At that point they will not only make a living for themselves but will be contributing to the mission as well as their community. More of God’s people making an impact in their community in Haiti. More information about how this program works will be posting to our new website in the near future. We are always needing new sponsors for our orphanage children. This wonderful program enables us to continue to feed, cloth, educate, and disciple our children as they grow up in the orphanage. Our donors have expressed the blessing God gives them for their part in these children’s lives. Please consider having a part in this life changing ministry. As I close the update on Haiti, I just returned from my September trip. Two highlights are the development of a local landing strip for our flights to the Northwest by MAF. After meeting with the local Mayor, we were able to receive certification for the landing strip and permission to use the property involved. Next details were finalized for a scholarship that will not only benefit our graduating orphans but also choosing three each year from our 10 area churches. This will benefit our communities and simulate the discipleship program. Although we had a lot of rain and I got stuck in the mud, almost missing my charter flight (video on our facebook) the trip was once again successful and a blessing to those we ministered to. To God be the Glory great things He continues to do.

I am so grateful for our faithful supporters, who give each month to make this mission possible. Remember 100% of all that you give goes to the mission as designated. Please continue helping our mission as we move forward. I continue to believe that God will do great things in the lives of people and you have a part through your continued support and prayers.
